Kendriya Vidyalaya, HPCL ,JAGIROAD, District: Morigaon (Assam) was established in October, 1984 in Project sector under Nagaon Paper Mill, Jagiroad and organisation under Hindustan Paper Corporation Ltd. In the beginning school was in a nebulous state and slowly gained reputation as renowned institution with +2 in all streams and groomed thousands of children not only academically but also trained them in every field. Consequently the school is instrumental in making good citizens for the Nation and society and it is a depiction of 'MINI-INDIA' in remote part of this North-Eastern Region of this country. Because of its quality of result during last three years Kendriya Vidyalaya HPCL,JAGIROAD is recognised as prestigious Institution in Morigaon District of Assam.
Kendriya Vidyalaya, HPCL ,JAGIROAD is run by "Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan" an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Kendriya Vidyalaya, HPCL ,JAGIROAD is one of the best Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Guwahati region. It has a tradition of Discipline, Devotion and Dedication throughout its life span. The school has a perfect blend of teachers and teacher - student ratio is 1:23. The relationship between the teachers and students is very congenial. Kendriya Vidyalaya, HPCL ,JAGIROAD is basically aimed to put in all possible efforts and impart the values of patriotism, brotherhood, National integration and International understanding .
